Circle Time: Today we talked about looking for spring flowers. In our preschool yard, we have noticed that some stems are starting to poke up out of the ground. Tomorrow, we will go outside for a few minutes to take a look at them. We made a list of flowers that grow and bloom in the spring. One of them was the tulip.
Story: How Tulips Grow is a non-fiction book that gives information about tulips. We learned that tulips grow from a bulb that you plant in the fall. Tulips come in many colors. Once the tulip is done blooming, the bulb stays in the ground and will grow again next year.
Small Groups: Mrs. Hoogheem's group played Number Bingo with numbers 1-20. My group practiced making the letter M with the wet, dry, try boards.
Large Group: The children all brought items for Show and Tell. It was fun to see what everyone had brought.
Snacks: The morning class had Scooby Snacks and milk brought by Payton. The afternoon class had Nutrigrain bars, Goldfish, and milk brought by Madeline. Thank you!
