Do you need glasses?

Circle Time:  We opened the G tub and found a gorilla, game, gum, guitar, and goat.  We added a few words of our own to the word list. 

Story:  Arlo Needs Glasses is the story of a dog who is having trouble catching the ball.  His owner thinks that maybe he needs to have his eyes checked.  Arlo goes to the eye doctor and tries to read the eye chart, but it's too blurry.   They eye doctor says that he needs glasses.  What kind should he get?  Super hero glasses, mad scientist glasses, movie star glasses?  Ask your child to tell you about the pair that Arlo decides to get. 


Group Time:  We practiced one more time for our program that will be held tomorrow.  The children should arrive at their usual time.  The programs will begin at 9:00 (AM class) and 1:00 (PM class). 

Art:  The children decorated a pair of cardboard glasses using markers and sequins.  They were very cute, but a little hard to keep on.  Maybe some string from home will help.

Snacks:  The morning class had granola bars and juice brought by Jayla.  The afternoon class had bananas, graham crackers, peanut butter, and milk brought by Taylor.  Thank you!
