Our last days...

Circle Time:  We are winding up our preschool activities for the year.  Due to the nice weather, we will be spending as much time outdoors as possible.  We received our new water pump and ball ramps over the weekend which were purchased with the funds from our Art Show Fundraiser.  We are planning to have everything in the outdoor classroom for tomorrow so that the children will have the opportunity to play with them.  Thank you!

Story:  Our story was Blueberries for Sal.  This classic story always makes me think of summer.  Sal and her mother are visiting Blueberry Hill to pick blueberries.  Sal wants to eat them, but mother wants to can them for the winter.  A bear and her cub are also visiting the hill to eat blueberries so that they can get fat for the winter.  When Sal and the cub wander off, things get a little mixed up.  Ask you child to tell you what happens at the end.

Small Group:  We completed two more pages in "My Book".  These will come home tomorrow.

Art:  Because we have so many things to send home at this time, we did not want to start another project.  So, we put playdough on the table with a few rollers, patterned hammers, and tools.

Large Group:  We went to the outdoor classroom.

Snacks:  The morning class had apples, Goldfish and juice brought by Andie.  The afternoon class had Chex-mix and juice brought by Rowan.  Thank you!
