Circle Time: Thank you for your donations to our upcoming grocery store. Now that we have some food items, we are making plans for what we will need to put it all together. Today, the children decided that we will need to sort out the food and make signs for where it will go. We will start working on that tomorrow.
Story: Five Senses at the Grocery Store is a book that reminds us of what we see, smell, hear, touch, and taste at the grocery store. Ask you child to name something from each of those categories.
Small Groups: We practiced making the letter U with our wet, dry, try boards. We also played a game with our movement mats. Each mat has a different movement activity. The children walk around the room and then stop on a mat. They are to do the movement on the mat. This can be difficult when someone else next to you is doing a different activity, but it was fun and the children enjoyed it.
Snacks: The morning class had Goldfish brought by Maisie. The afternoon class had apples and peanut butter brought by Madison. Thank you!
Tomorrow will be the last day to participate in the Lion's vision screening. Many of the children have completed the screening. If you would like your child to participate, return the permission form tomorrow or come inside at arrival time and fill out a new form.
