Circle Time:  We are getting close to meeting our reading goal.  On our bulletin board, we have 6 1/2 pizzas.  We figured out how many more pizzas we will need to reach our goal.  I'm sure that we will get there.  Keep reading!

Story:  We read Christina Katerina and the Box.  Christina loves to play with boxes, so it is an exciting day when her family receives a new refrigerator which is covered with a wonderful box!  She immediately claims it for her own.  She turns it into a castle, a clubhouse, and two more things.  See if your child can tell you what they are! 

Small Groups:  We practiced counting items and identifying numerals.  The children were given a number of items on a tray.  They were to count them and find the numeral card to match. 
We also practiced making a letter X on our wet, dry, try boards.

Large Group:  We learned how to run relay races.  We practiced waiting and moving up in line for our turn to run, jump, skip, and walk backwards.

Snacks:  The morning class had granola bars and juice brought by Katelyn.  The afternoon class had Cheddar Bunnies, cheese sticks, and juice brought by Brett.  Thank you!
