Family!

Circle Time:  We made a list of words that begin with the letter F.  We came up with about 10 words which is pretty good!  We also sang the F song.  Tomorrow will be the field trip, so we tried to wrap up the letter F today.

Story:  Families Are Different is a story written by a girl who notices that all families are different.  Some children have brothers and some have sisters and some have both.  Some children look like their parents and some do not.  It's a nice story to talk about how our families are similar and different.

Small Groups:  We completed the F page in our HWT workbook.  We had to copy 4 F's and color a fish and a frog.

We also had a family show and tell using the pictures that the children brought.  If your child didn't bring one today, please do so tomorrow or next week.

We used the play yard for our free play time again today.  It is soooo nice.  I hope we can continue to do so for a while.

Snacks:  The morning class had Cheez-its brought by Will.  The afternoon class had cheese sticks and crackers brought by Alivia.  Thank you!

We will be going to the Shady Knoll farm tomorrow.  Afternoon class, you received the wrong note in your child's backpack.  The afternoon trip is at 12:15, not 8:30.  The morning class will be leaving at 8:30.
